A
nonprofit group of fire and rescue service professionals, attorneys, educators,
administrators, and others having interest in the problem of unintentional
injury and dedicated to addressing this issue by providing information
through conferences, workshops and the legislative
process.
The 2010 NFPA World Safety Conference
and Exposition Scholarship for Vegas.
NFPA is awarding up to
30 scholarships for fire and life safety educators. This is will
help the Fire Department’s in Maine send those Public Fire &
Life Safety Educators whom may be struggling to attend any public
fire and life safety education trainings.
Winners will get free
conference registration, three nights lodging, and some of the meals
will be covered. What is not covered is airfare, airport transfers,
some meals and miscellaneous
expenses.
The travel dates for the
winners will be on 6th June 2010 to arrive for an evening
reception that will take place after our annual meeting with the
Public Educators Network. This is a perfect opportunity for you to
introduce the winners from your state to the members of Public
Educators Network. This conference provides many opportunities to
network, contribute your expertise and represent your states Public
Education Initiatives as well as participate in the public education
session’s provided.
